Inferring
Making inferences is closely related to making predictions. Inferring is filling in the blanks by using the available information to make personal conclusions. For this challenge, I have posed some sophisticated questions that are not answered in the story. You will have to construct your own response through the use of information in the story.
Question 1:
Cougars head coach Ryan Arnold said nothing about what happened as he left practice at Kin 3 rink Tuesday night.
"No comment," he said as he walked away.
What can you infer about Mr. Arnold's feelings by his refusal to answer questions about what happened?

Question 2:
"It doesn't look good on Prince George and it doesn't look good on Prince George minor hockey. All this came to light Monday afternoon and Tuesday. We're volunteers and we have to work during the day and deal with this stuff when we have free time in the evening. Hopefully by the next two or three days it's done."
What kind of impact do you think this issue is having on the volunteer members of the Prince George Minor Hockey Association?
